Cat Fundraiser Topeka: Vote for Larry vs Chewey
This cat fundraiser Topeka features Larry and Chewey, two registered service cats raising money for their yearly vaccinations and city licenses. The total cost lands somewhere between $80–$100, and of course, it is due before the next paycheck hits. Thanks to a steep discount from Helping Hands Humane Society, their shots and check-up come in at about $20 per cat, with city licenses just under $20 each — but as always, there are those extra surprise expenses that show up uninvited.
Naturally, the cats see this not as a problem, but as an opportunity. Larry, the more image-conscious of the two, insists this is the perfect time for a popularity contest fundraiser — preferably one that proves he is, in fact, everyone’s favorite. Chewey is less concerned with public opinion, but very invested in outcomes: more catnip-stuffed mice, preferably not pre-soaked in Larry slobber, a proper brush for his shedding Maine Coon fluff situation, and possibly some investigative work into the mysterious origin of the red laser dot. Larry, meanwhile, has his eye on a large bag of Temptations Catnip Medley treats, which he claims he will share, though this remains unverified.
So here we are: two demanding roommates who sleep all day, eat your food, redecorate the carpet with the occasional cat-yack, and now need to raise a little cash by Thursday. If they happen to raise a bit extra, well, they have already made a list.

Help Fund Larry & Chewey’s Survival (and Their Questionable Lifestyle)
Voting is fun. Voting is important. But unfortunately, the city of Topeka does not currently accept “vibes,” “popularity,” or “Larry is clearly the superior being” as valid forms of payment.
What they do accept is money — specifically for yearly vaccinations and city licenses. Thanks to a discount from Helping Hands Humane Society, the basics come out to about $20 per cat for shots and just under $20 each for licenses. Add in the usual surprise expenses, and we land somewhere in the $80–$100 range.
If you’re enjoying the chaos, the cats, or the idea of two freeloading roommates being forced to campaign for their own upkeep, consider throwing in a few bucks.
- ✔ Keeps both cats healthy and up to date on shots
- ✔ Keeps them legally licensed (so they can continue committing minor household crimes)
- ✔ Funds treats, toys, and other completely unnecessary but emotionally critical expenses
When you donate, put “Larry” or “Chewey” in the notes to support your favorite.
No pressure — but Larry is absolutely judging you right now.
