Just weeks after bragging about how 2022 had so few homicides, the city has already racked up more murders, most unsolved.

TOPEKA, Kan. – On March 26, 2023, at approximately 10:13 a.m. Topeka police officers responded to the
1500 BLK of SE Quincy on a reported shooting.
One victim suffering from a gun shot wound was
pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives are on-scene; the investigation is on-going.
