Heres one giant load of bullshit, straight from the right-wing WIBW bulltshit machine:
his dumb Toxic shitbag is one of Rev Bigot Feakers little foot soldiers who seeks to sabotage and fukover any other group that tries to help the homeless. She tried multiple times to have ME kicked out of The Topeka Homelessness TaskForce. Why? Because i offered to help, simply that. Back in the old scanner group one of the mods Rebecca and her daughter used to put together and hand out christmass care packages for the homeless population in topeka. Apparently this angered Misty to no end. Rebbecca told me of various run-ins with misty,, who she described as a “Sick manipulative meth head who grew up under the influence of her crazy druggie Dad and the psycho Megalomaniac racist bigot Barry Feaker. (This alone tells me that Misty is “Suffering” from PTSD and “ACA (Adult Child Of An Alcoholic) and her behavior gives away most of the major symptoms of that. She is someone who should be in treatmentgetting her own shit figured out before she tries to help anyone else.
When you here about “bottlenecks” in helping and supplying the homeless at Mission and lack of funds, you usually find that Misty has wedged her fat ass into a position of “Gatekeeper” and is using those resources to manipulate and control others. I aksed rebecca before I knew what was going on why she didnt team up with Misty and join forces, Rebeccase basically said “I dont want anything to do with her, and everythingthat comes along with her, she is just mean nasty and negative and hates anyone who tries to help that she cant make follow herpersonal agenda.
So basically, with all of the toxic nasty (And even criminal) shit thats gone on with the rescue mission over the years, Misty has been soaking and stewing right in the middle of it.
She has talked a lot of trash on me, and she doesnt even know me. She tried several times to get Dr Russell Burton kicked out of the Homeless Taskforce as well. She manipulated that dumb “Homeless outreach cop” Klamm to make false (verbal) complaints against me to the Homeless task force….but the main reason why she didnt succeed in that was MOST of the people on that Taskforce are used to her bullshit and see right through it.
She started her facebook page months after I started the one for Burtons Second Chance Street Coalition, and after THIS groups “TPS Gives”. I saw it and thought “Oh cool! more people picthing in to help!” and I joined her group and I posted One thing about being glad to see more and more people getting involved and looking forward to working with everyone. I had been wrned about Misty before that, so I took a screen shot of my post…and thats ALL my post said. Ive still got it on one of these hard drives. The next morning My post had been deleted….Oooookkk…And Ive got a string of messages from Russel Burton and from someone who didnt identify themselves from the Topeka Homeless Taskforce.. Russel was irate and demanding to know “What the hell did you say to Misty?” and my response was “Who?” and “What did she say I said?” And Russel didnt immediatly tell me, he just said that Misty had thrown some HUGE fit and called everyione on the Topeka Homeless Taskforce and talked up a world of shit on me and said I made threats towards her and her group and said really nasty shit, none of which was true. She even got Officer Klamm to join in with her lies. I told Russel and someone at the Taskforce “Look, if this was true, then certainly Misty would have screen shot that shit and it would be available for us all to see exactly what was said”…They agreed, how could they not? (Hint, when a mod deletes a post, the post is stull there and can be “brought back” by the mod who deleted it…..Misty of course refused to do that. Ultimately she was shown up for being the mean spirited nasty manipulative liar that she is….just like her abuser Rev Barry feaker. The task force ignored her bullshit attempts to get me and Russell thrown off. And why wuld they want to get rid of people who where actually doing GOOD and supplying the people in tent city with the supplies they needed….and not making demands of them like the rescue mission does.
Misty is no “Hero” shes a fucking psychopath liar and just as extention of the evil shit that Barry feaker pulls. (I wonder if he has given HER a house that was donated to the mission yet?) Misty has also pulled some of this same bullshit within the local LGBTQ community and driven wedges and her toxic nastines between members of that community too.
And notice that with her “Help” the homeless population GROWS and becomes more destitute and further from help. (Misty fought against the “Housing first” program that Dr Burton had intoduced, and then tried to re-intorduce it as her own idea, where it quickly fell flat on its face.) (In fact, at a homeless taskforce meeting where she brought it up, someone asked “Isnt this the same thing that Dr Burton has been pushing for?” and there was simlence as Mistys face turned red.
She is not a local hero. But I can see what a station like WIBW who has promoted the rabidly anti-Gay Chick Fil A and owned by a right wing media conglomerate would chose to call her one: Fred Phelps is dead. To me she just embodies everything that is so very wrong with topeka. And believe me, I am not alone in that opinion.. She has run off more good, honest people and organizations just because of her weird insecure megalomaniac provincial attitude and hateful tactics than anyone else in this town.
