Shooting Incident
TOPEKA, Kan. – On April 8, 2023 at around 5:27 p.m., TPD Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of SE 26th St on a report of an individual that had been shot. Officers arrived in the area and found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to the local hospital.
The injuries do not appear life-threating. All parties are accounted for at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
