TOPEKA, Kan. – On June 29, 2023, at approximately 12:14 a.m., officers from the Topeka Police
Department responded to 2600 BLK SE Gilmore, CT., on a call for service regarding a report of a
person with a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, officers located three individuals suffering from
gunshot wounds. All three individuals were transported to a local medical care facility, with one
injury considered non-life threatening and two considered life-threatening.
While at the hospital, one of the victims was pronounced deceased by medical staff. The victims’ identities are being withheld at this time for next of kin notification and the investigation’s integrity.
As a result, Topeka Police Department Officers and Detectives are reviewing all investigative
leads and evidence as the case is ongoing. We encourage anyone with information to call or

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Topeka Police have confirmed one person has died following a shooting in the 2600 BLK of SE Gilmore Ct.
The shooting was reported around 12:15 a.m. Thursday at the Pine Ridge Apartments.
The shooting involved three victims, one of whom had non-life threatening injuries.
Two of the victims had life-threatening injuries, according to Topeka Police.
The victims were taken to a local hospital where medical staff pronounced one victim deceased.
The victims identities are being withheld until next of kin can be notified and for the investigation’s integrity.
TPD says detectives are reviewing all investigative leads and evidence in this case.
