To[eka Police Take Months Solving Crime That Informants Solved For Them Months Ago

The original murder took place March 14th, 2023. Four months later, the police finally make an arest. We cvan only hope that they arrested the right person, altough because of the Dana Chandler case, we can never be sure or trust what the cops or DA tells us.



TOPEKA, Kan. – On March 14, 2023 at approximately 7:53 p.m., Topeka Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of SE 8th for a hit and run accident. Upon arrival officers located a male subject on scene who was suffering from a gunshot wound. z

The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives were notified, the investigation was on-going.

The deceased has been identified as Khristopher A. L. Brown, 19, Topeka.

On June 29, 2023,
As a result of the investigation a 17 year old male from Topeka, was transported to the
Shawnee County Juvenile Department of Corrections for the following charges::

 Murder in 1st Degree
 Distribution of marijuana within 1000’ of a school
 Use of communication facility in commission of a felony drug violation



The police want to thank the community for hearing their call and stepping up to help bring justice to this victim and their loved ones. TPD investigators worked very hard on this case, and community input was crucial in identifying the suspect.

In otherwords: The police didnt solve this at all, tips and information from the community did.
