Topeka Police expect no foul play in death of two individuals
TOPEKA, Kan. – On July 24, 2023, around 2:30 p.m., officers from the Topeka Police Department (TPD) responded to the 1200 block of SW Polk St. on a check welfare call. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals who were later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
According to reports, and employer called police to check on an employee who had not shown up for work. The two males were found laying on a bed in a bedroom. Police said there were no obvious signs of wounds or injuries.
At this time, police do not believe this incident to be suspicious. The investigation is ongoing and
investigators believe these deaths are medical in nature.
