Another Homicide In Topeka Makes 32 Murders
Homicide Investigation
TOPEKA, Kan. – On October 20, 2023, at 12:29 a.m., officers from the Topeka Police
Department responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of SW Fillmore St.
Upon arrival, officers located two adults suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced deceased by medical personnel at the scene and the second victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This incident is being investigated as the 32nd homicide, and further details will be released as the investigation allows.
UPDATE
The deceased has been identified as Trevon Praylow, 35 years of age, of Topeka. The
investigation remains ongoing.
