Topeka Police arrest school burglary suspect
TOPEKA, Kan. – On April 10, 2024, around 3:30 a.m., officers from the Topeka Police Department (TPD)
responded to a reported burglary at Sheldon Headstart, located at 1155 SW Seabrook Ave.
Upon arrival, officers located an individual, identified as Blayne R. Blevins, 31, of Topeka, with stolen
property. As a result of the investigation, Blevins was later arrested and booked into the Shawnee
County Department of Corrections on the following charges:
Burglary; Dwelling to commit felony, theft, DV, or sexually motivated crime
Theft <$1,500 From Building
Interference with LEO; obstruct/resist/oppose felony warrant service or execution
