🌧️ Soul Fire Festival Postponed Due to Rain, Rescheduled for Late June

Before we begin, organizers would like to officially confirm that Milli Vanilli will not be performing, Vanilla Ice will not be appearing, and Kid Rock has also cancelled.

While many attendees were looking forward to the gathering this weekend, the Soul Fire Festival postponed announcement allows organizers to preserve the full experience rather than battle severe weather conditions.

Fortunately, that’s the good news.

The bad news is that Soul Fire Arts & Music Festival at Truckhenge has officially been declared a rain-out for this weekend.

After monitoring forecasts calling for rain, thunderstorms, mud, more rain, additional mud, and the possibility of Kansas briefly transforming into a giant sponge, organizers have made the difficult decision to postpone the event until late June.

The postponement means the Blue Moon gathering, fire dancers, musicians, artists, drummers, campers, cosmic wanderers, and assorted prairie mystics will have to postpone their plans for a few weeks.

The good news is that the magic isn’t cancelled. Organizers intend to bring the full Soul Fire experience back in late June when the weather is expected to be considerably more cooperative and significantly less swamp-like.

Attendees can still expect the same mix of live music, art installations, community gatherings, camping, fire performances, drum circles, creativity, and wonderfully strange prairie energy that has made Soul Fire one of Kansas’ most unique underground festivals.

Updated dates, schedules, artist announcements, and event information are expected to be released soon.

The Soul Fire Festival postponed decision was made to ensure attendees, performers, artists, and vendors can enjoy the event under safer and more enjoyable conditions later in June.
