Police Fliundering Through Another Death Investigation.
Topeka Police investigating suspicious death
TOPEKA, Kan. – On April 19, 2024, just after 8 a.m., officers from the Topeka Police Department
responded to a reported shooting in the 3700 block of SW Park South Ct.
Upon arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. That person
was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
At this time, the incident is being investigated as a suspicious death. The investigation is ongoing.
As of 5:00pm, the coroner was enrout to the scene and police were still gaurding the crime scene.
WIBW, the Copaganda Station in Topeka said this: “TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Police were investigating the shooting death of a man Friday morning on the city’s south side.
Topeka police officials mid-morning Friday were calling it a “suspicious death.”
The incident was reported around 8 a.m. at the Crown Point apartment complex in the 3700 block of S.W. Park South Court. The location was about two blocks east of S.W. 37th and Burlingame Road.
Following the shooting, police could be seen talking with several people outside one of the apartment complex buildings.”
