TOPEKA, Kan. – The City of Topeka marked a significant milestone this week with the launch of its redesigned municipal website, while the Topeka Fire Department tackled a late-night structure fire on the city’s east side.

City of Topeka Launches Topeka.gov

The city officially transitioned from Topeka.org to Topeka.gov, offering residents, businesses, and visitors a modernized, mobile-friendly, and more intuitive online experience.

City Manager Dr. Robert Perez emphasized the importance of the update:

“The launch of Topeka.gov represents a major step forward in how we connect with our community. We wanted to make sure our website not only looks modern but truly serves the people of Topeka by being intuitive, accessible, and responsive to their needs.”

While the URL has changed, users typing Topeka.org will be automatically redirected. City staff emails will continue to use the @topeka.org domain for now. Residents are encouraged to explore the new site and provide feedback to citycommunications@topeka.org.
