The Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival 2026 is bringing bonfires, live music, camping, art, DJs, drum circles, and underground festival chaos back to Truckhenge Farm near Topeka for a massive three-day memorial gathering May 29th–31st.
Part music festival, part spiritual gathering, part outlaw campground celebration, the Soul Fire Sabbath Memorial Weekend is shaping up to be one of the wildest and most uniquely Kansas events of the summer.
That’s the energy surrounding the upcoming Soul Fire Sabbath Memorial Art & Music Festival Weekend, happening May 29th–31st at Truckhenge just outside Topeka.
Part underground music festival, part camping gathering, part spiritual memorial celebration, the Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival is shaping up to be one of the wildest and most uniquely Kansas events of the summer. Organizer and promoter Troy Komahcheet has assembled a sprawling lineup of musicians, DJs, artists, dancers, performers, drummers, rappers, painters, and cosmic weirdos for a three-day celebration of life, remembrance, music, and community.
And honestly? There may not be a more perfect location for this kind of beautifully chaotic gathering than Truckhenge itself.
What Is The Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival?
Truckhenge has long been one of Kansas’ most legendary outsider-art landmarks — a surreal sculpture park created by artist Ron Lessman after a dispute with county officials over abandoned trucks on his property. When officials ordered him to “pick up the trucks,” Lessman famously did exactly that… by embedding them nose-first into the ground like some post-apocalyptic Stonehenge made from rusted farm machinery.
Over the years, the site evolved into a bizarre and beloved Kansas folk-art destination featuring recycled sculpture, beer-bottle structures, fishing ponds, campsites, art gatherings, concerts, and counterculture events. Truckhenge has hosted everything from punk shows to political gatherings to experimental art happenings, earning its place as one of the Midwest’s great roadside oddities.
Now the Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival is carrying that tradition forward with a weekend designed around remembrance, healing, celebration, and absolute musical mayhem.
Festival organizers describe the event as a memorial bonfire gathering dedicated to “all loved ones on the other side” while also serving as a celebration of peace, togetherness, and creativity. Expect massive bonfires, camping under the stars, drum circles, live painters, food vendors, face painting, native dancers, teepee storytelling, swimming, fishing, EDM dance sets, acoustic jams, rock bands, rappers, and enough psychedelic energy to light up the Kansas River valley.
The lineup itself feels like a collision between a DIY punk festival, tribal gathering, EDM rave, and late-night campground jam session.

…and more performers are still being added to the growing Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival lineup.
Friday night appears to lean heavier into the tribal, psychedelic, jam-band, and ceremonial energy, while Saturday expands into EDM, hip-hop, DJs, rap, and late-night dance-stage madness.
And if you’ve ever been to Truckhenge after dark, you already know the atmosphere can get surreal fast.
The giant bonfires throw flickering shadows across the sculpture park. Music echoes across the water and fields. Campfires glow between teepees and tents. Someone is usually drumming somewhere. Somebody else is painting something strange. Half the crowd looks like they wandered out of a Mad Max commune, and the other half look like they just escaped a punk show.
That’s kind of the point.
The Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival isn’t trying to be a polished corporate festival with VIP champagne tents and influencer branding walls. It’s DIY. Weird. Spiritual. Loud. Emotional. Messy. Human.
It feels more like a gathering than an “event.”
Organizers are emphasizing community respect and safety throughout the weekend, especially the strict no-glass policy across the property to protect barefoot campers and children around the beach and campground areas.
Camping passes and weekend admission are intentionally affordable, with daily gate fees around $10–15 and weekend camping vehicle passes generally ranging from $15–20 depending on camping location.
For longtime Topeka music fans, events like this also represent something increasingly rare: independent local culture creating its own spaces outside the corporate entertainment machine.
Truckhenge has always been a refuge for that kind of outsider creativity.
And for one weekend in late May, it’s about to become a bonfire-lit crossroads of punk rockers, hippies, artists, ravers, drummers, dancers, memorial ceremonies, noise freaks, cosmic travelers, and Kansas night creatures all gathering under the same sky.
For music fans looking for something strange, loud, spiritual, and unforgettable this summer, the Truckhenge Soul Fire Festival may end up being one of the most unique events happening anywhere in Kansas in 2026.
